Peanut bowl
Gold luster on porcelain.
$240 USD
The peanut bowl dedicates a space to having peanuts handy around the house. With a high proteint content, they make for a great healthy snack. Archaeologists have found peanuts in precolombian art for centuries, originally in Peru, which indicates they have been part of the american diet for centuries. In Mexico, they are used for countless dishes. The necklace is reminiscent of a jewel my grandmother "Mamota" owned, which was made in Mexico. It symbolizes fertility.

This collection of ceramic wares is made with gluten intolerant users in mind, who may not want to miss out on the experience of eating from these iconic dishes. Snowline refers to my husbands ice cream label, which I designed (www.snowline.ooo). The molds for slip casting porcelain were created using actual sugar cones, waffle bowls and paper cups, to capture their essence. Shades of blue glazes and mason stains are used to create a ”frozen” look. Made of porcelain, fired at high temperature (Cone 10 - 2400°F). Some pieces include gold luster accents.
