About

Natalia's jewelry design explores the use of ordinary, non traditional materials, processes and approaches to jewelry making, in order to innovate by imprinting on them new readings, or creating unexpected narratives.

Her most recent collection, branded as NPorter Design, and titled COZCATL (meaning jewel in nahuatl), looks back at ancient Mexican art. As a Mexican, she wants to celebrate her culture and people.

Natalia's collection "A tribute to Peltre" was selected as part of The MoMA's Destination Series: Destination Mexico in 2012, exhibited and sold at the museum's stores.

Prior jewelry work is branded under Wits Productions, initially designed in collaboration with Allison Schlegel (until 2009), and sold at The MoMA Design stores in 2004-05.

Natalia's jewelry collections have been sold, exhibited and published internationally, including: The MoMA Design Stores in NYC & Japan; The Price Tower Art Center, USA; The Museo Dolores Olmedo and Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Oaxaca, Mexico; The Glasgow School of Art, Scotland; The Latin American Design Foundation, Netherlands.
